Prof. Dr. Mahendra Yashwant Sawant M.B.B.S., M.D., M.M.Sc-Diabetology., Ph.D., M.C.P.S., D.I.M (CPS, Mumbai)., D.Diabetology (U.K)., Fellowship in Diabetes (U.K) is a renowned Diabetologist in Mumbai, who is well known for managing complicated diabetes cases.
He has completed his Ph.D (Law), Ph.D (Healthcare Management) and Ph.D (Management Studies) from University of Mumbai. Prof. Dr. Sawant is also MBA (Healthcare Services)., MBA (HR) ., MBA ( Marketing)., LL.B., LL.M. from University of Mumbai. He has mastered the subject of Law in real sense that he completed five Post Graduate Diplomas in Law namely DLL & LW., DTL., DCL., ADCL., PGD. IPR Law from University of Mumbai. Prof. Dr. Sawant has made a world record of continuous study for last 51 years in field of Medicine, Law & Management Studies. He is the follower of Late, Prof. Dr. Shrikant Jichkar in the field of education. Prof. Dr. Sawant says “Investment in Brain is the Best investment in the world & Education is the real asset of life.”
He has spent more than two decades in teaching profession as a Professor. He is well known for his teaching Excellency.
He is also famous as Medico legal Consultant in State of Maharashtra.
Prof. Dr. Sawant has many research papers and publications to his name in National and International Journals and has participated in numerous National & International Conferences / Seminars / Workshops.
